Books You Have to Read

Ever since my parents gave me the Kindle for my birthday, I've easily doubled the rate I'm reading. I've always been solidly in the anti-tech camp, but I am a true convert. The Kindle gets me books when I want it, where I want it. And, its light and easy to read. My only problem is that there aren't enough books on it for me! I've come across many titles Kindle doesn't offer yet.
I've just finished two books I have to recommend:

"This Is Where I Leave You" by Johnathan Tropper and "Let The Great World Spin" by Colum Mccann.

I promise you won't be able to put them down.

Advice from Turkey

My Dad works with a woman in Turkey who has generously offered to talk to me about how she got her business up and running. She e-mailed my dad with some answers to questions and I thought one piece of her advice was very amusing:

"To let you know in advance, forget about finance or accounting. I'll say find a rich husband and get married :)"

With all the recent news about women being the breadwinners, I'm thinking I'm going to have to fend for myself out there.

My Business Idea

I've been e-mailing back and forth with my dad over the past few weeks with some starting thoughts on my business ideas.

He sent me a picture as a suggestion for a business I could open.

I'm thinking this might not fly :)

What do you think?

Sue Says It

I love Glee. I think its a snarky, smart TV show and I can't help that I sang in the Glee Club (...rather the Madrigals) in high school. I follow Sue Sylvester, the head coach of the Cheerios, on Facebook because whoever runs it has hilarious status updates.

I almost died at one of the latest ones because I have, in fact, been peed on on a public bus.
