Once Upon a Time.

One of my best friends called me with some exciting news I've been anticipating for awhile: she is engaged! I can't imagine a more perfect person for her to spend the rest of her life with. And, I'm thrilled that I convinced her to go on a second date with him :).

The Kozel Craft

Chris and I recently became the Skipper (Chris) and Crew (Me) of a 19- foot racing sailboat! Mom, Dad, Chris and I took her out for her maiden voyage last weekend and sailed to the National Harbor. She's a fast little boat and we still have a lot to learn about her!

Her current name is "String Theory" but I'm not a fan and would like to change it. We are taking recommendations.

I'm looking forward to many fall weekends sailing our little craft and hopefully, Chris and I will become skilled enough to do a little competitive racing!
